Electrical System
With ignition switch OFF,
hazard indicator and all
hazard lights remain OFF
with the 4 way hazard
switch in the ON position.
Not
OK
Before troubleshooting any
electrical circuit, ALWAYS
begin by checking the
following:
1. Fuses.
2. All connections relating
to circuit are clean and
tight.
3. If one or more of the
hazard lights work, the
circuit is fine, the bad
bulb(s) need to be
replaced.
If OK
Not
OK
Disconnect connector at fuse
block, wire 12C to wire 32 on
roadlight harness. Check for
battery voltage at wire 12C
(DK BLU).
Replace console/stabilizer
harness.
Check for battery voltage at
pin 17 (right signals), wire
23C (GRN), and pin 18 (left
signals), wire 22C (ORG) on
hazard switch.
Replace roadlight harness.
Not
OK
If OK
Reconnect leads and check
for battery voltage at pin 3,
wire 32 (GRN) on hazard
switch.
Replace hazard switch.
Not
OK
If OK
Check for battery voltage at
pin 2, wire 33 (VIO) on hazard
switch.
Replace hazard switch.
Not
OK
If OK
Check for battery voltage at
pin 5, wire 28B (VIO) on
hazard switch.
Replace flasher.
Not
OK
If OK
Check for battery voltage at
turn signal light connections
(2H & 23A, 2F & 23B,
2J & 22A and 2E & 22B).
Replace roadlight harness.
