Park brake warning
indicator stays ON
with park brake
disengaged.
Check light bulb.
If OK
Replace park brake switch.
Retest switch.
If OK

Before troubleshooting any
electrical circuit, ALWAYS
begin by checking the
following:
1. Fuses.
2. Battery for proper charge.
3. All connections relating to
circuit are clean and tight.
4. Check instrument cluster
bulbs for proper function.
Check park brake switch for
battery voltage on
wire 42 (TAN).
Check park brake switch for
battery voltage at
wire 152 (BLK/WHT).
Check fuses.
