For a comparative measurement with a calibrated measuring device the standard values for für x1in, x1 out (0) and x2
in, x2 out (100) must be entered first.
Example 1:
Zero offset
x1in = 100
x1out = 100 + 1,5
x2in = 300
x2out = 300 + 1,5
The corrected values are shifted evenly with reference to
the input values over the complete range.
Example 2:
Gain change (rotation around the coordinate origin)
x1in =
0
x1out = 0
x2in = 300
x2out = 300 + 1,5
The corrected values diverge despite equality with
the input values at
x1in and
x1out
.
Example 3:
Zero and gain matching
x1in = 100
x1out = 100 - 2,0
x2in = 300
x2out = 300 + 1,5
The corrected values are already shifted at input
values
x1in
and
x1out
and diverge additionally.
Sensor types
The input sensor type can be defined as potentiometric transducer or as standard current signal.
Potentiometric transducer
The admissible overall resistance is ß 1000 [ incl. 2 w RL. Calibration or scaling are with the sensor connected.
+
Before calibration, the mains frequency required during operation must be adjusted.

Calibration is as follows.
Transducer calibration is possible via interface and front-panel operation. Select
set 0%. After pressing the selec-
tor key,
set 0% starts blinking. Bring the transducer into the position corresponding to X0 (usually lower end posi -
tion). The instantaneously valid value for INP6 is displayed ‘
X‘. Press the selector key again to store this actual value
as X
0
.
Select
set 100%. After pressing the selector key set 100% starts blinking. Now, bring the transducer into
the position corresponding to X
100
(mostly upper end position). The instantaneously valid value for INP6 is displayed
‘
X‘. Press the selector key again to store this actual value as X
100
.
