Each KS8x function handles a controller of KS 800 or KS 816. The analog and digital inputs can be used to send the
control signals to the controller in KS800/16. The analog outputs provide the process and controller values.

Yman Correcting variable in manual mode
Digital inputs
a/m 0 = controller is in automatic mode 1 = controller is in manual mode
C off 0 = controller is switched on 1 = controller is switched off
w/w2 0 = controller is in automatic mode 1 = 2nd is active (safety )
we/wi 0 = external is active 1 = internal is active
ostart 0 = don’t start self-tuning 1 = start self-tuning
Digital outputs
et-err 0 = no engineering error
1 = engineering error
(several KS8x controller functions on a controller channel)
valid 0 = no data 1 = data were received
xfail 0 = no sensor fail 1 = sensor fail
