Description Periodically ping the configured UDP server. This causes the ARP cache to be periodically refreshed to
prevent unnecessary ARPs from being transmitted.
Since ARPs are broadcast and pings are unicast packets, total network overhead is reduced if pings are
used instead of ARPs.
