Trimming – Diameter of linear element
With this function you change the diameter of a horizontal linear
element. TURN PLUS recalculates the manipulated element and
adjusts the position of the preceding/succeeding element.
Change the diameter of a linear element:
U Select “Manipulate > Trimming > Diameter” in the finished part
menu.
U Select the element you want to change. TURN PLUS opens the
“Change diameter” dialog box.
U Enter the new diameter and select the type of adjustment for the
preceding/succeeding element. TURN PLUS integrates the changes
and depicts the manipulated contour. You can apply (“Confirm” soft
key) or cancel (ESC key) the changes.
Transformations – Fundamentals
The transformation functions are used for turning contours, contours
on the front/rear face or lateral surface, etc.
„ Turning contour: The original contour is deleted and the complete
turning contour is “transformed.”
„ Contours on the front/rear face or lateral surface: Define whether
you wish to delete the original contour or copy and “transform” it.
