In-process measuring
A touch-trigger probe is a prerequisite.
Application example: With in-process measurement you can monitor
tool wear. If you use the tool life monitoring, worn-out tools are
identified as such and the CNC PILOT replaces it.
Example: In-process measuring
Switch on in-process measurement G910
G910 activates the probe and the probe monitoring function.
Programming:
Position the probe at a sufficient distance before the measuring
point.
Program G910 alone in the NC block. G910 is modal
Program G1 .. as follows:
Target position is at a sufficient distance behind the measuring
point
Activate a per-minute feed rate (G94)
