Adding tool dimensions G710
When a T command is programmed, the CNC PILOT replaces the
previous tool dimensions with new tool dimensions. When you
activate the adding function with G710 Q1, the dimensions of the new
tool are added to the dimensions of the previous tool.
Application example
For full-surface machining, the workpiece is transferred to a rotating
gripper after having been machined on the front face. The rear face is
machined by stationary tools. To do this, the dimensions of the
rotating gripper are added to the dimensions of the stationary tool.
