Configure Ethernet Module
In this example, you configure the fast Ethernet board for communicating to the Supervisory PLC, and an offline
development personal computer. See
CNC to Controller Communication on page 208
for location of the fast
Ethernet board.
IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Port Number
Configure the IP Address of the fast Ethernet board to allow
network connectivity.
1.
Press the SYSTEM function key from the MDI panel.
The system PARAMETER screen is
displayed.
2.
Press either the + softkey or the right arrow
function key to advance to the chapter
selection for Ethernet.
