To spot an image:

Select an image.

It’s a good idea to set the image to appear at full size (100 percent) to prevent image
scaling from obscuring details. To display an image at full size, click the Zoom Viewer
button in the tool strip or the Full Screen view toolbar (or press Z).

Select the Spot & Patch tool in the tool strip or the Full Screen view toolbar.

The pointer changes to a target, and the Spot & Patch HUD appears.

Click the blemish area to place the Spot & Patch target overlay on it.

The yellow Spot & Patch target overlay is placed over the blemish, and the
blemish disappears.

Note: You can always adjust the size of the target overlay and other parameters. For
more information, see “

Using the Spot & Patch Controls

” on page 391.

Repeat step 4 until all of the blemishes in your image are removed.

Click a blemish to place
a Spot & Patch target
overlay on it.
