Applying Keywords to Images

To display keywords using overlays:

1

Do one of the following:

 Choose View > Metadata > Customize (or press Command-J).
 Choose Aperture > Preferences, or press Command-Comma (,), then click Metadata.

The Metadata pane of the Preferences window appears.

To display keywords in the Viewer, select the Viewer checkbox.

Choose Caption & Keywords from the Set 1 pop-up menu.

Choose an option from the Placement pop-up menu to specify where you want the
information displayed in relation to the image.

To display keywords in the Browser, select the Browser checkbox.

Choose Caption & Keywords from the Set 1 pop-up menu.

Choose an option from the Placement pop-up menu to specify where you want the
information displayed in relation to the image.

Aperture is now set to display keywords assigned to images. You can quickly hide or
show the overlays when you need to.

Make sure the Viewer

checkbox is selected.

Choose where you want the
information displayed from
this pop-up menu.

Choose Caption & Keywords
from this pop-up menu.
