Contour curvature and direction of rotation

The direction of rotation determines the type of arc:

• Convex (curving outward), or

• Concave (curving inward)

G03 G41 (R>0)

To program a circular arc with a defined radius:

Circle, Cartesian, clockwise.

Enter the coordinates of the arc end point,
for example X = 10 mm, Y = 2 mm.

Enter the radius of the arc, for example R = 5 mm, and determine the
size of the arc using the sign (negative in this example).

Further entries, if necessary:

• Radius compensation
• Feed rate
• Miscellaneous function
