Error Analysis

eHEC Correctable: Indicates that only one bit error has been detected
in the Extension header (eHEC, CID and Spare). Only available with
Linear frames (EXI is set to Linear).

eHEC Uncorrectable: Indicates that two or more bit errors have been
detected in the Extension header (eHEC, CID and Spare). Only
available with Linear frames (EXI is set to Linear).

tHEC Correctable: Indicates that only one bit error has been detected
in the Type header (tHEC, PTI, PFI, EXI and UPI).
³
tHEC Uncorrectable: Indicates that two or more bit error have been
detected in the Type header (tHEC, PTI, PFI, EXI and UPI).
³
pFCS: Indicates that at least one bit error has been detected in the
payload.
³
SB Correctable: Indicates that bit error has been detected in the
CRC-16 word of the superblock. A received SB Correctable (Pre) error
counts as one error while SB Correctable (Post) counts as two errors.
³
SB Uncorrectable: Indicates that two or more bit errors have been
detected in the CRC-16 word of the superblock. Note that if two errors
are spaced by exactly 43 bits, they will not be reported as
uncorrectable.

10B_ERR: Indicates that a10B_ERR code has been detected in the
payload of the superblock.
