VLAN STATE
Syntax
vlan VLANID state enable|disable
Parameters
VLANID Specifies the ID of the VLAN. Enter a value between 2
and 4094. The default VLAN has an ID of 1.
state Indicates the state of the VLAN is either enabled or
disabled. Choose from the following:
enable Specifies the VLAN is enabled.
disable Specifies the VLAN is disabled.
Description
Use this command to set the operational state of the VLAN.

Examples
In the following commands disable VLAN 3:
switch# configure terminal
switch(config)# vlan database
switch(config-vlan)# vlan 3 state disable
