default-information originate

Parameters

Description
Use the DEFAULT-INFORMATION ORIGINATE command to distribute a
default route to RIP. By default, this command is disabled. Use the no form
of this command to disable this feature.

The following commands distribute a default route to RIP:
switch#configure terminal
switch(config)#router rip
switch(config-router)#default-information originate
