IP RIP SEND-PACKET

Syntax

ip rip send-packet

no ip rip send-packet

Parameters

none

Description

Use the IP RIP SEND-PACKET command to enable an interface to send
RIP packets. By default, this command is enabled. Use the no form of this
command to disable this feature.

Example

The following command enables packets to be sent on interface 2:

switch#configure terminal

switch(config)#interface xe2

switch(config-if)#ip rip send-packet
