ARP-AGEING-TIMEOUT
Syntax
arp-ageing-timeout <1-3000>
Parameters
none
Description
Use the ARP-AGEING-TIMEOUT command to set a timer for the Address
Resolution Protocol (ARP) on an interface. The timer value is in seconds.
The range is from 1 to 3,000 seconds.

The following commands set the ARP ageing timer to 2000 seconds on
interface 1:
switch#configure terminal
switch(config)#interface xe1
switch(config-if)#arp-ageing-timeout 2000
