UPLOAD SERIAL
Syntax
upload serial xmodem
Parameters
serial Indicates the serial port. Choose from the following
option:
xmodem Indicates the xmodem protocol is used to
upload a software image.
Description
Use the UPLOAD SERIAL command to upload a software image from the
switch onto a serial port. The serial port is also called the console port and
it is labeled “TERMINAL PORT” on the switch.
Command Mode
Privileged Executive mode
Example
The following command upload the software from the switch to the serial
port on the switch with the XMODEM protocol:
switch#upload serial xmodem
