IP RIP RECEIVE-PACKET
Syntax
ip rip receive-packet
no ip rip receive-packet
Parameters
none
Description
Use the IP RIP RECEIVE-PACKET command to enable an interface to
receive RIP packets. By default, this command is enabled. Use the no
form of this command to disable this feature.

The following commands enable packets to be received on interface 2:
switch#configure terminal
switch(config)#interface xe2
switch(config-if)#ip rip receive-packet
