Selecting Wired or Wireless LAN

Set whether to connect the machine to the network using a wired or wireless LAN.
If you want to switch from wired LAN to wireless LAN, you can make the setting during the procedure for connecting
to wireless LAN. Connecting to a Wireless LAN(P. 54)
* You cannot connect to a wired LAN and wireless LAN at the same time.
Use the operation panel to configure the settings. On the operation panel, you can also configure the settings by
pressing [Menu] in the [Home] screen [Preferences]. You cannot configure the settings using Remote UI from a
computer.
Administrator privileges are required.

On the operation panel, press [ ] (wired LAN) or [ ] (wireless LAN) in the [Home]
screen. [Home] Screen(P. 111)
➠ The [Network] screen is displayed.
If the login screen appears, enter the System Manager ID and PIN, and then press [Log In]. System

Press [Select Wired/Wireless LAN].

Select [Wired LAN] or [Wireless LAN].
➠ The message [Settings configured.] appears.
Next, connect to the wired or wireless LAN.

When Switching between Wired and Wireless LAN
● Any installed drivers must be uninstalled and then reinstalled.
