When prompted for a control number or template name, the operator will have
several options:
1. Enter a control number or template name, which will recall a file from memory.
The Test Standard, Class, Type and other test information will be set from this
file. The test result will be printed and stored in memory for printing or exporting
at a later time.
or,
2. Press the
ENT
key without entering a control number or template name, which
will use the present settings. The test result will be printed only and will not be
stored. The present settings include the current Test Standard, Class, Type, and
Lead definitions plus the following defaults:
• Power Off Delay of 5 seconds
• Startup Delay of 5 seconds
• Protective Earth Resistance Applied Current of 1 Amp
or,
3. Using the
SCROLLING

feature in one of the following ways:
• Press the
SCROLL
soft key to scroll through the list of existing device
records or templates. When the preferred test is found, press
ENT
soft
key to start the test.
• Use the A..Z soft key to type in the first character of the control number
or template name and press
SCROLL
to find it. Press
EN
T soft key to
start the test.
• If there are several control numbers or template names with the same first
character(s), after using the A..Z soft key to type in the first character of
the template name, press the
CURSOR→
to move to the next character,
and so on until you have either the entire name or a good portion of it. If
it’s the entire number, or name, press
ENT
soft key to start the test. If it’s
just part of the number or name, press
SCROLL
to scroll through
possible options and
ENT
soft key to start the test.
4. Use the optional keyboard plugged into the ISA601PROXL to type in either the
first character (or several characters) of the control number or template name and
press
SCROLL
to find the template name. Press
ENT
soft key to start the test.
or,
5. Create a new device record.
