2. Attach the Barcode Keyboard Wedge

1. Turn off power to the 601PRO.

2. Connect the barcode keyboard wedge to the keyboard port on the back of the

601PRO.

3. Plug the barcode scanner into the barcode keyboard wedge.

4. To use an external keyboard in conjunction with the barcode scanner, plug the

keyboard into the open connector on the barcode keyboard wedge.

3. Use the Barcode Scanner to Enter Information

Use the barcode wand when prompted to enter information. For example, When

prompted in

Auto

Manual

mode to enter a control number, swipe the wand over the

barcode on the DUT.

Once connected, any data, scanned or typed, will appear to the 601PRO as if it had been

typed on the keyboard.
