2. Errors and Suggested Corrective Actions
Follow the suggested corrective action for errors in the range of 0A00-1900. If the error
persists, you should collect as much information as possible about what you were doing at the
time of the error, and contact Fluke Biomedical or your local Service Center to report the
problem.
Code Description Corrective Action
0A00 System Test: 500-Volt
failure. Recycle power and try again.
0B00 System Test: Mains
Voltage failure. Recycle power and try again.
0C00 System Test: No Earth
connection. Try a different wall outlet (see note below).
0D00 System Test Failure
preventing action. The unit failed the power-up test(s). Recycle power and try again.
0E00 A to D read failure. Internal hardware error. Contact Fluke Biomedical or your local
Service Center to report the problem.
0F00 Calibration Value out of
range. Confirm that patient leads are disconnected. If the problem
persists, contact Fluke Biomedical or your local Service Center to
report the problem.
1000 I Scale failure during
calibration. Internal hardware error. Contact Fluke Biomedical or your local
Service Center to report the problem.
1100 Voltage across 0.5 Ohm
cal resistor error. Internal hardware error. Contact Fluke Biomedical or your local
Service Center to report the problem.
1200 Calibration Resistor
current error.
Internal hardware error. Contact Fluke Biomedical or your local
Service Center to report the problem.
1300 System test leakage error. Internal hardware error. Contact Fluke Biomedical or your local
Service Center to report the problem.
1400 DIR checksum error. Contact Fluke Biomedical or your local Service Center to report
the problem. The most probable cause is that Flash is worn out in
that sector.
1500 Result checksum error. Contact Fluke Biomedical or your local Service Center to report
the problem. The most probable cause is that Flash is worn out in
that sector.
1600 No Test. Results storage
full. Delete old. Delete some stored results to make room for new ones. Refer to
Chapter 5.
1700 Printer timeout. Print
buffer full. You need to have a printer enabled and connected. Refer to
Chapter 2.
1800 Device Record Format is
invalid. Review the format of the data being transmitted to the 601PRO.
Refer to Chapter 6.
1900 Serial Port timeout.
Cannot transmit. Verify that you are using the correct serial cable, that it is properly
connected, and that the communications parameters are correctly
set-up on both the PC and the 601. Refer to Chapter 6.
2100 Cannot delete all Device
information until all test
results have been deleted. Delete all test results. Refer to Chapter 5.
☛ Note: If a connection to Mains Earth is provided by means other than through the
line cord earth conductor (such as through a serial port or parallel port ground
connection), the 601PRO will not detect an Open Earth Error as part of the
outlet test that occurs upon power-up.
