• Select the desired outlet configuration and applied part to test using the
appropriate
SOFT KEYS
:
⇒
SOFT KEY 1
takes one pair of readings and displays the result.
⇒
SOFT KEY 2
allows the user to perform a calibration.
⇒
SOFT KEY 3
toggles the DUT outlet Polarity from Normal to DUT Off to
Reverse Polarity, or Reverse to DUT Off to Normal Polarity.
⇒
SOFT KEY 4
toggles the applied part from:
• ALL to Earth
• RA to Earth
• RL to Earth
• LA to Earth
• LL to Earth
• V1-V6 to Earth
• Press
START TEST (SOFT KEY 1)
to begin the test.
WARNING: High voltage is present at applied part terminals while measurements are
being taken.
• Press the
print data
key to generate a printout of the latest measurement.
To perform a calibration from the
Mains on Applied Part
test, press CAL
(SOFT KEY 2)
.
• Disconnect ALL patient leads, test leads, and DUT outlet connections.
• Press
CAL
to begin calibration, as shown:

WARNING: A 2-beep-per-second signal indicates high voltage present at the applied part
terminals while a calibration is being performed.
• When the calibration is finished, the
Mains on Applied Part
test will reappear.

Note:
If the calibration fails, the previously stored readings will be used until a
passing calibration has occurred. Also, the
esc/stop
key has no effect
during calibration.
