To perform a Patient Leakage Current test using the test-shortcut keys:
• From the MAIN MENU , or with the outlet unpowered, plug the DUT into the
601PRO front panel outlet, and turn on the device.
• Attach the applied parts to the 601PRO's applied part terminals.
• Press shortcut key 6 . The Patient Leakage test is displayed, and the test begins
immediately.

⇒ SOFT KEY 1 toggles the DUT outlet Polarity from Normal to DUT Off to
Reverse Polarity, or Reverse to DUT Off to Normal Polarity.
⇒ SOFT KEY 2 toggles the DUT outlet from Earth to No Earth.
⇒ SOFT KEY 3 toggles the DUT outlet from L2 to No L2.
⇒ SOFT KEY 4 toggles the applied part from:
• ALL to Earth (RMS)
• RA to Earth (RMS)
• RL to Earth (RMS)
• LA to Earth (RMS)
• LL to Earth (RMS)
• V1-V6 to Earth (RMS)
• ALL to Earth DC
• RA to Earth DC
• RL to Earth DC
• LA to Earth DC
• LL to Earth DC
• V1-V6 to Earth DC

Note: If the current test standard being used does not include Patient Leakage
DC readings, or the DC option is not enabled, then DC readings will not
be available through the APPLIED PART SOFT KEY selections. Refer to
Chapter 8, Standards and Principles.
