Standards and Principles

The 601PRO is programmed to use IEC 601-1 as the default test standard. Alternative test

standards

− VDE 751, VDE 701, HEI 95, IEC 1010, AAMI, AS/NZS 3551 and custom − are

available for selection and can be accessed through

SYSTEM SETUP

from the

MAIN MENU

.

Some electrical tests may not be applicable under certain class/type categories (refer to the tables in

this chapter). In these cases, the test will be performed but the test limit will display

(invalid).

To access the test standards, follow the steps outlined below.
