Standards and Principles
The 601PRO is programmed to use IEC 601-1 as the default test standard. Alternative test
standards − VDE 751, VDE 701, HEI 95, IEC 1010, AAMI, AS/NZS 3551 and custom − are
available for selection and can be accessed through SYSTEM SETUP from the MAIN MENU .
Some electrical tests may not be applicable under certain class/type categories (refer to the tables in
this chapter). In these cases, the test will be performed but the test limit will display Inv (invalid).
