ip sip registrar [authenticate | default-expires | max-expires |

min-expires | realm]

Use the ip sip registrar command to configure the registrar server. Use the no form of the ip sip registrar
authenticate command to disable the registrar server.

Syntax Description

authenticate

Specify authentication is required on server upon registration.

default-expires

Specify the default expiration period.

max-expires

Specify the maximum expiration period. Seconds: 0 to 2,592,000.

min-expires

Specify the minimum expiration period. Seconds: 0 to 2,592,000.

realm

Specify string for authentication parameter.

Specify time in seconds.

Default Values

By default, the registrar server is disabled.

Applicable Platforms

This command applies to the NetVanta 2000 and 5000 and Total Access 900 Series units.

Usage Examples

The following example sets the default expiration to 5 seconds:

(config)#ip sip registrar default-expires 5

The following example sets the realm string:
(config)#ip sip registrar realm voice.adtran.com
