Exporting and publishing

Javascript
Specify the URL of an existing JavaScript. InDesign does not check whether the JavaScript exists or is valid,
so you’ll want to confirm your JavaScript setup.
Preserve Appearance from layout
To rasterize an object, select the object, right-click, and select Object Export
Options.
In the Object Export Options dialog box, select Preserve Appearance from layout. The image attributes are exported to
the CSS file if the image is rasterized.
Japanese Specific

These changes are applicable for Fixed Layout.
• Ruby text is now live and not rasterized in Fixed Layout EPUB.
• Warichu is now supported in live text.
• Character rotation is supported in Live text.
• Composite fonts are supported.
Note: You can preview your document for interactivity using the EPUB Interactivity Preview Panel (Window > Interactive
> EPUB Interactivity Preview).
