The following table describes the labels in this screen.
33.8 The ICMP Screen
If an outside user attempts to probe an unsupported port on your X6004, an ICMP
response packet is automatically returned. This allows the outside user to know
the X6004 exists. Your X6004 supports anti-probing, which prevents the ICMP
response packet from being sent. This keeps outsiders from discovering your
X6004 when unsupported ports are probed.
To change your X6004’s security settings, click Maintenance > Administration
> Remote Management > ICMP. The screen appears as shown.

Access
Interface
Select the interface(s) through which computer(s) may access the
X6004 using this service. Select ALL to allow the specified computer(s)
to access the X6004 through either LAN or WAN interface.
Address Type
Select ALL to allow any computers to access the X6004 using this
service.
Select Host and specify the IP address of a trusted computer to allow
the computer to access the X6004 using this service.
Select Subnet and specify the IP addresses of a trusted subnet to allow
all computers from the subnet network to access the X6004 using this
service.
Apply
Click this to save your changes and to apply them to the X6004.
Cancel
Click this to begin configuring the fields again.
