Microscope Function
Microscope Function
The LT-9001 Series has two types of run modes;
displacement mode and profile mode. This
section describes the operations and functions
common to both modes.
The operations and functions can be classified into

• The magnification is approximately 85
× when the
CA-MN80 is used. (8.4" diagonal screen size)
(The magnification is approximately 44x for LT-9030(M).)
• You can select whether to show or hide the image
and change the focus position.
"DISPLAY" (page 5-18)
• The image is updated even when the graph is in
pause status or the measured value is in hold status.
Refer to "Display Update Cycle" (page 9-6) for
the update cycle of the image.
• Although the spot of the laser beam normally
cannot be displayed, it may slightly be displayed
depending on the measurement target.
• The image may be swung left and right fast
depending on the settings.
• The display range differs according to the
manufacturing variations of individual measuring units.
• The LT-9001/LT-9010 and LT-9001SO (5653)/LT-
9030 have no microscope function.

You can check the target in the measurement area
by the image captured by the image sensor camera
that is built-in in the measuring unit. Thus, you can
measure the desired measurement point without
fail.
Orientation of the image and the field of view
The positional relation between the measurement
target and the image is shown below.
The display range is 1300
μm (X) × 1050 μm (Y).
(The display range is 2500
μm (X) × 2000 μm (Y) for
LT-9030 (M).)
