This is the function used to display the measured
shape of the target on a data logger or oscilloscope.
The profile is output as binary data from the analog
output terminal of the terminal block on the rear panel
of the controller or from the I/O output terminal of the
connector.
Refer to "Chapter 7 I/O Terminal" (page 7-1) for
the terminals and connector.
The procedure used to set the output is explained as
follows.

Select [PROF OUT] from [OPTIONAL] on the
program mode screen.
The [PROF OUT] setting screen appears.

Select [PROF OUT].

Select [ON] or [OFF] by using the [
▲] or [▼]
button.
The profile waveform data is output when you
select [ON]. The measurement results of OUT1
and OUT2 are output when you select [OFF].

Press the [ENTER] button.
The [PROF OUT] is set.
PROF OUT (Profile Output)
You do not need to set [PROF OUT] when the profile
waveform data is output using the RS-232C interface.
Refer to "Chapter 8 RS-232C" (page 8-1).
When the profile waveform is output as binary data,
set [I/O] to [BINARY] on the optional setting screen.
Refer to "I/O" (page 5-20) for binary setting.
