The procedure used to set the [MEASUREMENT] is
explained as follows.

Select [OUTPUT] from [OUT1] or [OUT2] on
the program mode screen.
The [OUTPUT] setting screen appears.
The OUT1 settings are performed in this
example.

Move the cursor to [MEASUREMENT] by
using the [
▲] or [▼] button and press the
[ENTER] button for selecting from the
options.

Select the option of [MEASUREMENT] by
using the [
▲] and [▼] buttons.
Select one from among A1, A2, A1+A2 and
A1–A2.

Press the [ENTER] button.
[MEASUREMENT] is fixed.
When [AREA] is set to [A2] (Area 2), the calculation
with [A1] and [A2] cannot be performed.
Note
OUTPUT Settings
You can specify two types of settings, OUT1 and
OUT2, modifying the measured value for the
respective purposes such as averaging, offset
and calibration. These values can be displayed.
This section describes [MEASUREMENT] from
functions of "Output". Refer to "Output Settings" (page
5-7) for other functions.
Refer to "LIMITS (Tolerance)" (page 5-7).
Refer to "CALIB (Calibration)" (page 5-16) for
calibration.
MEASUREMENT
Selects the area or calculates the value with those of
the areas in OUT1/OUT2.
Four types of measurement can be performed in the
measurement specifications.
A1
Area 1 is measured.
A2
Area 2 is measured.
A1–A2
Measures and calculates the differential
between Area 1 and Area 2.
A1+A2
Measures and calculates the sum of Area 1 and
Area 2.
