Pause Screen
The pause screen stops the update of a profile
waveform graph on the measurement screen. You
can measure the displacement of any point or
perform slant correction of the profile waveform on
the pause screen.
This section describes the functions of the pause
screen.
There are three functions in the pause screen.
• Measuring any point on the profile waveform graph.
• Calculating the differential between the values of
any two points.
• Correcting the slant of the profile waveform graph.
• On the pause screen, only the graph display is
retained and the measured value and the image of
the measurement target is continuously displayed.

Measuring any point or the differential
between two points
The differential between any two points can be
measured.
The measurement procedure is explained as follows.
1 Press the [PAUSE] button on the remote
control console.
The update of the graph display is retained and
two vertical cursors appear.

Select either the yellow-green cursor or the
light blue one by pressing the [SCREEN]
button.

Move the vertical cursor to any point by
using the [t] or [s] button.
Any point and the differential between two
points are displayed.
