Reference
Reference
Mask is the function used to ignore light intensity
peaks within a user-defined range to eliminate them
from the measurement result. This function is useful
when measuring the displacement of a target through
glass or measuring the thickness of laminated glass.
The glass between a target and the measuring unit or
the contact surface of glass will be ignored.
Make the settings on the light intensity screen in the
measurement direction (the direction of
displacement). When the values of the measurement
target are within the mask range, the measurement
value from beforehand is maintained within the
masked range.
Use the followoing procedure to set the mask.
1
Select [MASK] from [BASIC] on the program
mode screen.
The mask setting screen appears.
2
Select [MASK].
3
Set [MASK] to [ON] by using the [
▲] and [▼]
buttons.
Set to [OFF] when you are not using this
function.
