Viewing Ethernet Settings for the Router
Ethernet communication settings for the router display in the ‘Configuration’ window. UniConfig
displays either basic settings, such as IP address and subnet mask, or advanced settings, such as
gateway information. For information on entering gateway settings, see
Setting Up a Gateway on
page 45.
How to View Basic Ethernet Communication Settings
1 Launch UniConfig. (See Launching UniConfig on page 9.)
2 Select a control card. (See Selecting a Control Card on page 10.)
3 Again from the menu bar, select ‘Communications > Setup’. The ‘Configuration’ window
appears:

4 Click
Read All
. The ‘Configuration’ window populates with the current router configuration and
Ethernet settings.
How to View Expanded Ethernet Communication Settings
1 Launch UniConfig. (See Launching UniConfig on page 9.)
2 Select a control card. (See Selecting a Control Card on page 10.)
3 From the menu bar, select ‘Windows > Configuration’. The ‘Configuration’ window appears,
as shown in Figure 6-4.
