Viewing ‘Write All’ Sequence

played settings applied to another control card, this option must be deselected so that the current
settings are not overwritten when another control card is selected.

8 Select the control card to which you want the current configuration settings applied. (See

9 Important: If you are using an Ethernet connection, be sure to up the IP address in the ‘IP

Address’ field on the ‘Configuration’ window. (See Figure 4-1 on page 11.) Each control must
have a unique IP address. (See

Updating Ethernet Communication Settings

on page 30.)

10 On the ‘Configuration’ window, click

Write All

. The current configuration settings are sent to the

currently selected control card.

Viewing ‘Write All’ Sequence

When making changes, it is sometimes beneficial to view current writing activity to know when the
writing of data to the control card is complete.

How to View Write Sequence Progress

1 Launch UniConfig. (See

Launching UniConfig

on page 9.)

2 Select a control card. (See

Selecting a Control Card

on page 10.)

3 From the menu bar, select ‘Windows > Configuration’. The ‘Configuration’ window appears,

as shown in Figure 4-1 on page 11.

4 Click

Read All

. Current configuration settings for the selected control card populate the ‘Config-

uration’ window fields.

Note

Do not click

Read All

. Whenever

Read All

is clicked, UniConfig reads configu-

ration settings from the currently selected control card and overwrites any
previously displayed settings.
