Entering Initial EC9535 Serial and Ethernet Settings
How to Enter Ethernet Communication Parameters
1 Locate the two Ethernet ports labeled ‘10/100BT’, as shown in Figure 12-4. These ports are
divided into two sets, one primary (‘PRI CTRL’) and one secondary (‘SEC CTRL’).

2 Connect to the ‘10/100BT’ connection in the ‘PRI CTRL’ section using a RJ45 connector and
Ethernet cable.
3 Connect the other end of the cable to the PC running the UniConfig application.
4 From the menu bar, select ‘Window > Configuration’. The ‘Configuration’ window appears, as
shown in Figure 12-5. Using this window, Ethernet connection settings are entered (i.e., IP
address and subnet) to enable communication with the EC9535 through a network.
