When the read error check is set
*
This occurs on the BL-1300/700/600/500/
180 and the SR-500.
• LED Display
...“Err” is displayed.
• LCD display
...“Read Error (CR1)” is displayed.
• Parallel output (Out1-Out12)
...Outputs representing “997” (Read Error) are
turned ON. ALL outputs are turned OFF when
Bit output format is selected (default). (
Refer to 4-11)
It is possible to continue on and compare and verify the next master data.
Confirming the Master Data
The contents of the master data can easily be viewed from the verification mode.

Select the record number to confirm.
Press the
or
key to select the desired record number.

Confirm the contents on the LCD display.
The master data that is registered in the selected record number is displayed on the LCD.
Press the
key to display Master data 2, Master data 3 and Reference data in that order.
Counter Function
In the counter function, it is possible to count the matched number of data read with the code reader
and the master data in the verification mode. The counter can count up to 65545 on the respective
record numbers.
Setting the counter function

Move to the setting mode.
Press the
key for one second. The display
enters the setting mode.
Note
• In the output terminal setting on the BL-1300 Series, set OUT1 to OK and OUT2 to
NG+ERROR.
• On the SR-500 Series, set as “NG is output when the read error occurs”.
Reference
When data longer than 17 digits is read, it is dis-
played from the last digits to scroll through the
data. Use the
or
key.
