Setting the Verify Limitation Function
The following methods can be used to set the verify limitation. Normally, use the SetUp Software in
preset mode to make a simple correction.
z Using the SetUp Software
Sets the verify limitation using the SetUp Software. (
Refer to 7-17)
z Using the preset mode
Sets the verify limitation in the preset mode of the DV-90. (
Refer to 5-21)
Working with Verify Limitation in the GS1-128
The following methods can be used for setting the verify limitation with GS1-128 codes.
Checking the commodity code and the expiration date
When the format above is applied to GS1-128 codes, it is displayed as follows for the master data
that is checked on the commodity code and the expiration date but not on the quantity and the lot
number.
Note
Always verify the date setting in the DV-90 before using “Date compare”.(
