5-4 Verify Limitation Function
Checking the commodity code and expiration date of an GS1-128 code using a differ-
ent format
When multiple formats are used in the GS1-128 code, the master data used to check the commodity
code and the expiration date is as follows.
The expiration date can be checked when the upper and lower limit values of the expiration date are
set in Master data 2 and 3.
Note
• Input the symbol “ ^ ” to preset the GS with the SetUp Software. Send the GS , when pre-
setting the data by the serial communication command.
• The GS is displayed as “
” in the display of the DV-90.
• It is not possible to input the GS when editing the master data by key operation in the pre-
set mode.
