Settings
Settings of the DV-90
Set the DV-90 as follows.

Set “PORT2 Unit” in “Main” to “PLC Link”.

Select the “PLC Type” in “Main” from among “KEYENCE KV”, “MELSEC”, and
“SYSMAC” according to the PLC to be used.

Configure “Baud” and “Format (data length, parity, stop bit length)” in “PORT2”
according to the PLC.
The default values are set as follows depending on the “PLC Type” setting.

Set the “DM Address” in “PORT2”.
For the DM assignment, refer to page 9-4.

Set the “PLC Time Area” in “PORT2”.
Set the “PLC Time Area” to “ON” when using “X+06 Read Trigger Notice Area” on the PLC
link, and controlling the reading of the code reader connected via the PLC link. (
