6.25 Metrohm Spark Triathlon Autosampler
6.25.1 Triathlon Autosampler features
The Metrohm Spark Triathlon Autosampler is a metal-free
sampler with a built-in injection valve for automatic sample injec-
tion. It can handle sample volumes down to 5 µL, provides multi-
ple injections from small sample volumes, ‘partial loop’ injections
and automatic dilution. The sample rack has a capacity of up to
96 samples, numerous standard vials with an effective volume
from 100 µL to 10 mL can be used.
The Metrohm Spark Triathlon Autosampler can be fully operated
using the «IC Net» program. Examples for interconnections with
the Triathlon Autosampler can be found in the 830 Instructions
for Use.

6.25.2 Triathlon Autosampler icon
The Triathlon icon is available in the SYSTEM window if a Triathlon
Autosampler has been installed with the New system wizard or by
using the Setup/New devices/Install new device option of the SYS-
TEM window (see section 6.1.2).
If the system is connected and the Triathlon icon is clicked with
the right mouse button, the following menu appears:
Open Open the Triathlon window for parameter settings (this
window can also be opened by double-clicking the
icon).
Hardware data
Open the Metrohm Spark Triathlon monitor. Contains the
tabs Hardware settings and Countlogs to display the set-
tings and log counts of the Triathlon hardware.
Unlink Delete the Triathlon icon from the system.
