This tab of the
871 Advanced Bioscan
window allows
manual
con-
trol of the 871 Advanced Bioscan for a connected system. It dis-
plays the following current measurement values and parameter
settings of the 871 Advanced Bioscan:
Mode
Selection of detector mode:
DC
In
DC
mode, a constant potential is applied
to the working electrode, the analytes are
oxidized or reduced in accordance with
their electrochemical properties.
Pulse
The
Pulse
mode works with three different
working potentials, which are applied cycli-
cally. This frees the electrode surface from
any adhering reaction products after each
sweep and an activated surface is pro-
duced for the next measurement.
