733 IC Separation Center features

The Metrohm 733 IC Separation Center is a thermally and elec-
tronically isolated wet part which accommodates injectors, col-
umns, detectors, suppressor module and pulsation dampener
and is controlled by and connected to the 732 IC Detector or the
762 IC Interface. The following versions are available:

2.733.0010 IC Separation Center with 1 injector

2.733.0120 IC Separation Center with 2 injectors, metal-free

2.733.0130 IC Separation Center with 1 injector and 1 sup-
pressor module, metal-free

Pay attention when adding the Separation Center to the system!
The kind of Separation Center you have to choose from the de-
vice list depends on the wiring of the instruments in your sys-
tem.

Choose the

733 to IC Detector

from the device list, if the Separa-

tion Center is connected to the 732 IC Detector. The type of
Separation Center is recognized automatically.

Choose the appropriate

733.0XX0 to Interface

from the device

list, if the Separation Center is connected to the 762 IC Inter-
face
.

The 733 IC Separation Center can be fully operated using the «IC
Net» program.
The 733 IC Separation Center with one injection valve is nor-
mally connected to the 732 IC Detector using the 6.2125.090 ca-
ble. For the operation of a 733 IC Separation Center with two in-
jection valves
, two configurations are possible. To operate it
with one 732 IC Detector, the 733 IC Separation Center is con-
nected with one 6.2125.090 cable, both valves are recognized. To
operate the 733 IC Separation Center in a two-channel System
with two 732 IC Detectors, it have to be connected to each De-
tector with a 6.2125.090 cable, two

732 icons

and two

733 icons

(one for each valve) have to be installed in the

SYSTEM

window of

«

IC Net». «IC Net» recognizes automatically one valve per in-

stalled Separation Center, if two detectors are connected to a 733
IC Separation Center
with two injection valves.
If the Separation Center is connected to the 762 IC Interface,
one 6.2115.070 cable for every event line is needed. The number
depends on the type of Separation Center, i.e. for the 733.0130 IC
Separation Center three event lines are necessary to control the
valve (fill, inject) and the suppressor (step).
