6.6.9 CrossCutterMotionProfileCalculation function block
The CrossCutterMotionProfileCalculation function block calculates motion profiles for cross-
cutter applications with second-order polynomials (linear speed ramps), fifth-order polynomials
and sloping sine line for the motion function of the asynchronous section. The motion profile is
recalculated and saved in the defined area of the profile data field on the ServoPLC. The
calculation will only be made correctly if a basic profile with appropriate boundary parameters is
available in the profile data memory on the target system.
The function block also calculates an appropriate torque precontrol profile.

Caution!
The CrossCutterMotionProfileCalculation function block must only be processed in the cyclic
task (PLC_PRG or a subroutine called there) because it uses floating-point arithmetic.
