As soon as the valid print mark passes the print-mark sensor, the system will start to work. Depending on the print-
mark-sensor distance and the set cutting length, the cross cutter might not make the first cut at the first valid print mark
but at one of the subsequent valid print marks.
Once the first cut has been made at a valid print mark, print-mark control will be enabled automatically by the system
and the position of the cross cutter will be controlled on the basis of the print marks. The enabling of print-mark control
by the system is displayed in bit 27 of the application status word (C4150/000).
Bit 27 0 = Print-mark control deactivated by the system
Bit 27
1 = Print-mark control activated by the system
Reset the following bit to stop mark-controlled operation:
Bit 14
Start/stop the cross cutter
Once bit 14 has been reset, the cross-cutter knife will move to its initial position (starting position)
and stop there. As soon as the cross cutter stops in the initial position, the system will decouple from the master value.
The system will return to standby and this state will be displayed in code C3505/000.
C3505/000
The system is in standby (10).
You can switch from standby to mark-controlled operation at any time (see the description in Step 7).
