Description
Adds a static route to the routing table. The no form of this
command removes a route from the routing table.

The following example adds a static route to the routing table.

Definition
network|default
• network - an eight-digit hexadecimal number that
identifies the network on which you are establishing a
static route.
The range is 1 to FFFFFFFD and leading zeros can be omitted
(for 000000BB, enter BB).
• default - creates a static entry for the default-route.
network next-hop-node
Network number and node address of the next hop to the
server.
• next-hop-node - The argument node is the node
number of the target Novell server. This is a 48-bit value
represented by a MAC address (aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff).
ticks
Number of IBM clock ticks of delay to the network for which
you are establishing a static route. The range is 1 to 32000.
hops
Number of hops to the network for which you are establishing a
static route. The range is 1 to 16.
