Command Mode
Interface
Description
Configures the host address used in DVMRP prune packets
forwarded on this interface. The no form of this command restores
the default, which is: host-addr.

The following example configures the DVRMP prune
packets to the host address for interface 1.
(configure if:1)# ip multicast
prune-source host-addr

Name
Definition
host-addr
The full host address is used in the prune packet for
the source address.
network-addr
Only the network portion of the address is used in the
prune packet.
