Displaying a List of Host Nodes and Multicast Routers

You can use the AT-S62 software to display a list of the multicast groups
on a switch, as well as the host nodes. You can also view the multicast
routers. A multicast router is a router that is receiving multicast packets
from a multicast application and transmitting the packets to host nodes.
To view host nodes and multicast routers, perform the following
procedure:

1. From the Home page, select Monitoring.

2. Select the Multicast menu option.

The IGMP tab is displayed. For an explanation of the information
in this tab, refer to the previous procedure.

3. To view the multicast addresses and the host nodes, click View

Multicast Host List and then click View. To view the multicast
routers, click View Multicast Router List and then click View.

Viewing a list of host nodes opens a page containing the
following information. The information in the page is for viewing
purposes only.

Multicast Group
The multicast address of the group.

VLAN ID
The VID of the VLAN in which the port is an untagged member.

Member Port
The port(s) on the switch to which one or more host nodes of the
multicast group are connected.

Host IP
The IP address(es) of the host node(s) connected to the port.

Status
The status of the host node. Status can be:

❑ Active - The host node is an active member of the group.

❑ Left Group - The host node recently left the group.

Viewing a list of multicast routers displays a page containing the
following information. The information in the page is for viewing
purposes only.

Port
The port on the switch where the multicast router is connected.

VLAN ID
The VID of the VLAN in which the port is an untagged member.
