Displaying the Access Control Lists
To display the current ACLs on the switch, perform the following
procedure:
1. From the Home Page, select Monitoring.
2. From the Monitoring menu, select the Network Security menu
selection.
3. Select the ACL tab.
The ACL tab displays a table of the currently configured ACLs that
contains the following columns of information:
ID
The ID number of the ACL.
Description
A description of the ACL.
Action
The action of the ACL. An action of Permit means the ACL accepts
packets that match the traffic flows defined by the classifiers. An
action of Deny means that the ACL discards ingress packets that
match the defined traffic flows, provided that the packets do not
also meet the criteria of a Permit ACL. (A Permit ACL overrides a
Deny ACL.)
Active
The status of the ACL. A status of Yes means that the ACL is
assigned to at least one port on the switch. A status of No means
the ACL is not assigned to any ports and therefore is inactive.
Classifier List
The classifiers assigned to the ACL.
Port List
The ports assigned to the ACL.
4. To view the same information for each ACL, click the dialog circle next
to the ACL and click View.
5. Click Close.
